Create Your Own Sunshine: How to Achieve the Habit of Happiness

Establishing daily happiness is essential to having a positive day, which will turn into positive week, which will turn into a positive month, which will turn into a positive year, which will turn into a positive life!

Cultivating the practice self-love, positivity, and happiness will help you to embrace everyday and be grateful for the life you are living. Because life is full of its unexpected ups and downs, the journey to positivity will never be over. It is up to you to decide if it is your time to bloom and share your vibrance with the world , or just willow away in the shadows.

Before 2017 began, I was determined to make it my year and have a lifestyle change. We need more happy people in this world. There are not many left who are willing to step away from the negativity, view each day as a clean slate, and do whatever they can to make the world a better place. I am striving to be the type of person I just described and I suggest everyone should as well.

You are alive. Everyday you get to spend on this Earth is a precious gift from God that should not be taken for granted. Life can change drastically at any moment. You are not guaranteed tomorrow. I understand we all have our problems and unfortunately some are unavoidable, but find the good in each day even if you need to dig a little harder. Simply smiling and putting on a happy face to those you encounter will give you a new perspective on the value of the simple pleasures of life.

Waking up every morning with an optimistic attitude will give you a jump start to your day. I start my off my daily routine by getting up early and making myself a healthy breakfast. Putting nutrients into your body right when you wake up will make you feel fresh and renewed.

The most valuable thing I have learned from incorporating positivity in my daily life is that there is no way to avoid negativity. Social media plasters pessimistic attitudes wherever you look. There are also negative people that you will encounter either at work, school, or even friends and family. My suggestion is to learn from the world around you. When there is a negative presence, recognize it and set yourself free from the epicenter of the problem.
